Halo Porcelain Restorations
Shofu's Vintage
Halo porcelain system allows Selser Dental Lab's skilled ceramists to create restorations
that achieve the natural opalescence, fluorescence and three-dimensional appearance that
is identical to natural dentition. This startling new porcelain system has outstanding
physical properties including greater strength, superb biocompatibility and a wear rate
that is similar to natural enamel. Moreover, Vintage Halo Opal porcelain is similar in
both particle distribution and structure to natural enamel... achieving ideal light
refraction!
In fact, Vintage
Halo is the only porcelain system that addresses the difficulty in shade selection due to
the contrast between the red-violet color of the gingiva and the natural tooth. Shofu has
solved this problem by introducing a "GUM®" gingival colored
shade tab holder that's available in three gingival shades. Each GUMY® can hold up to three
shade tabs... making it easy to obtain the ultimate aesthetic result.

SelceramSM
24 Karat Gold Crowns
 SelceramSM
crowns and bridges from Selser Dental Lab provide the strength of conventional PFM's, but
at a fraction of the thickness! The precision "Electroforming" process is what
gives SelceramSM crowns and bridges its exceptional
marginal fit of 10 microns or less... creating dimensionally stable copings for single
crowns and bridges with a uniform, thin wall thickness between 1.6mm - 2.2mm. In fact, the
warm, yellow gold of SelceramSM restorations allows for
Halo porcelain to be applied in thin layers... achieving outstanding esthetics that
harmonize with abutment teeth. All SelceramSM copings are
made from a 24 karat gold alloy, which accounts for its high aesthetic value... tissue
compatibility... and wide range of acceptable preparation choices.

 The ShadeEye-EX Chroma
Meter from Shofu is easy to use and unfailingly accurate! It eliminates virtually all the
variables associated with shade taking such as lighting conditions, surrounding colors,
subjective color selection and the like... to consistently measure the exact base shade of
a patient's tooth... and then printing out a precise porcelain "recipe" for
Vintage Halo porcelain! In fact, the ShadeEye-EX can specifically identify over 200 shades
that are keyed to the Vintage Halo porcelain system.
Taking an
accurate shade is the most critical facet of creating patient pleasing cosmetic

Selser Dental Lab
fabricates its full cast restorations from a high, yellow gold alloy composed of gold,
palladium and silver. Formulated for full cast crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays, this
Type III Noble alloy will give your patients the biocompatibility and long term wear
resistance for which gold is historically known.

Precision Attachments
 Selser
Dental Lab has extensive experience with a host of precision attachments. However, we find
one of the most frequently prescribed attachments is the Stern ERA.
The ERA is
available in four {4} different degrees of "snap" retention...this male, nylon
attachment creates a cushioned connection that virtually eliminates the metal wear
experienced with conventional metal button attachments. The ERA means less abrasion...
reducing the frequency of retention adjustments and breakage. However, when the nylon ERA
requires replacement, your chair side time will only be about thirty seconds!
