 Charles
Selser, CDT, President
Mr. Selser
attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana and is a Certified Dental
Technician. He entered the dental laboratory industry in 1974 and by 1980 he had
established his own dental laboratory. In 1986 Charles joined his expertise with that of
his brother, Robert, to create Selser Dental Lab, Inc. The synergy of their
respective talents have allowed the precision restorative capabilities of Selser Dental
Lab to consistently provide leading-edge technologies and a high index of progressive
services to the profession in Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi for nearly 15 years.
As an advocate of
continuing dental education, Mr. Selser’s commitment to continuing education is
illustrated by his early involvement with metal-free restorations, which began in 1993.
Since that time, Charles has successfully completed training in such state of the art
techniques as Empress & Empress 2 and Targis / Vectris. He has also completed training
for all the premier implant systems including Paragon, Sulzer-Calcitek, Steri-Oss, Nobel
BioCare, 3i, and ITI.
Charles regularly
conducts study club presentations for the profession...and has even shared a program with
Dr. Gerard Chiche, which was sponsored by 3M.
Among his
accomplishments, Charles has held the posts of Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of
the Louisiana State Dental Laboratory Association. Additionally, he is a member of the
National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL), the Louisiana State Dental Laboratory
Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
